The first five pictures are of Emma Venne, my best friend.

They are taking in my room by the window and she is leaning up against my bed.

These picture were taken after we took a walk and it was raining really hard, and we sat on my floor listening to music

I chose to photograph her because I think she's photogenic and easy to photograph.  

                                            These next five are of my 8 year old little sister.
             These were taking in my room sitting on my bed right after we watched the Lorax.
I chose to take some pictures of Alina because I thought it would be fun to try and get my little sister to        
do cool things like yell into the camera and take it.

Alfreds goal was to prove that photography could be a medium of art.

I liked this picture because the way it was taken put emphasis on the people and it was taken at a good angle, and i really just like the simplicity of it.

He was married to Georgia O'Keef, a famous painter.

Beauty in a photograph can be recognized with how it makes you feel.  When I see a photograph that I think is beautiful it usually makes me happy and want to really look at it.  I would define beauty in a photograph as a photo that is pleasing to look at.  Characteristics in a beautiful photo can be the colors or the composition.  If somethings photograph from a cool angle in can make the photo more interesting. Or if theres different values of color the photo can be more pleasing to look at. I think something ugly can be photographed to be beautiful.  You can make the unpleasing thing look as if it has beauty too it by the way you photograph it.  You could take a photo of garbage and making it a cool picture by adding some twist to it that makes it look unexpected and interesting.
